Happy 1st Birthday Kamry Kate!
I cannot believe it has been a year since little Kam was born...she is such a blessing to our family, and definitely keeps life here busy and interesting. Without Kamry, we'd have a lot less entertainment around here. We all spend lots of time laughing at the little blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty who has stolen our hearts! Right now, we'd describe Kamry as crazy, energetic, funny, and quirky. She's turning into such a smarty pants...she says about 15 "words" and points to several body parts and people when asked. She tries to put her shoes on her feet (when she can't do it, she resorts to eating the shoe), brush her own hair (face, arms, mouth, etc.), and has learned to jump on her crib mattress (no injuries as of yet).
We love you, little Miss Kamry. Mommy and Daddy pray for another happy and healthy year for you as a ONE YEAR OLD! :)

Time Flies!
So I started this last year, hoping to keep everyone updated with the always busy, never dull life of our family! Obviously I haven't kept up and decided since we are going to again be packing our stuff for yet another move, I'd try once again to see if I can keep up with this.
It's been a crazy spring as there have been tons of changes around here. Casey was promoted for a three year stint as southwest Iowa's new deer depredation biologist. This equals a move, and we are currently looking for a house in Winterset or Creston. We sold our house here in Cedar Falls just 48 hours after listing it...a huge blessing considering the current economy. We're very sad to say good bye to our church family and friends here, but know that this is where God wants us to go.
The girls are growing like crazy...Jacie's now 3 and Kamry will be 1 in just a week. Kam is at that fun age where she's starting to say words...so far we have a pretty nice list, including mama, dada, Titus, dog, Jacie, cookie, baby, ball, and our most recent fave "MUAH" when you ask her to give you a kiss. :) Jacie continues to come up with some pretty good ones herself, and her sweet and sensitive nature steals the heart of most people she comes into contact with. We still have to have our beloved friend "Stinky" (her taggie blanket I made for her) for naps, bedtime, and most car rides. I think it's going to be harder to get rid of Stinky than her pacifier...so glad Kamry never wanted one, although she's starting to get quite attached to a yellow Pheasants Forever blanket, yet to be named.
