Here I go again...
Lots of changes this year for the girls - preschool, potty-training, new rooms, and a new baby sister! We've transitioned to a family of five, and much of the time I feel like I have 12 things going on at once. Let's just say, nursing a baby, potty-training a two year old, and driving Jacie to preschool and tumbling class leaves little time for this mama to do much else, and that includes housekeeping!!! Good thing I have a helpful and understanding husband - he's my saving grace at 4:30 every afternoon when he walks in from his work day to Kam on the potty, Eden in her bouncy, Jacie tackling him with hugs, and me in the middle of suppertime craziness.
Jacie loves preschool, she didn't go as a three year old, and was SO ready for some fun learning time with other kids. She's like me, Safety Sam, always following rules and doing exactly what the teacher says. As a kid, I really did not like getting in trouble, etc. and I can see she's like me in that aspect. :)
While Jacie's at preschool, I get a little one-on-one with Kamry and she loves it. We've just said goodbye to diapers (praise the Lord). Our diaper budget every month was over $100 and we could think of a million better ways to spend that money. Getting Kamry out of diapers means we just have to buy Easy-Ups for night time now, and that lowers it down to around $70. Big difference! She's still hilarious and a little nuts sometimes, but she keeps us entertained. This summer she proved she's circus material by swallowing a hair clippy and giving us a scare, but 44 hours we declared an all clear on her digestive tract. I'll have to post that x-ray....
Our biggest (and best) change of the year was little miss Eden. She came in a whirlwind on June 10, 2010. Shortest labor by 18 hours, and after 8 months of praying and enlisting others to pray too, she was delivered sans meds - no epidural or pain medication during the labor or delivery. When I had Jacie and Kamry, I had epidurals for both, and let me tell you, Eden's was BY FAR the easiest recovery of all. IF we were having any more, I'd do it that way again, no question. Eden has proven to be our easiest baby so far, sleeping through the night at 9 weeks. She's been the easiest to nurse (Jacie had reflux, and Kamry was tongue tied) and thrives on her schedule. The older two are the ones that keep us busy, that is for sure.

Casey and I work hard to find time to spend together at nights and thanks to great grandparents, we get evenings out once in awhile. In October we will celebrate 9 years since we first met (October 26, 2001) and 8 years since we were engaged (October 25, 2002). This weekend my dad scored us free tickets to the ISU/Texas Tech football game, so we're going to spend some quality time in the town we spent our time dating, which should be lots of fun and bring back lots of great memories. Hard to believe it's 9 years later, we've been married for 6 years, and have 3 girls. Time marches on... :)
